SURAHMUZZAMMIL BRIEF COMMENTARY & BACKGROUND. This Surah has 20 verses divided into 2 Rukus/Sections. It takes its name from verse 1: "يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ," (O you who wraps himself) where the word "المزمل" meaning "The Enwrapped One" appears. This Surah was revealed in Mecca most probably tafsirdan pengajaran surah al muzzammilsurah al muzzammil| ayat 10-14وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَاهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْرًا جَمِيلًا (١٠ Thisis the end of the Tafsir of Surat Al-Muzzammil, and all praise and blessings are due to Allah. Tafsir Quraish Shihab Diskusi (Sesungguhnya ini) yaitu ayat-ayat yang memperingatkan ini (adalah suatu peringatan) suatu nasihat bagi semua makhluk. (Maka barang siapa yang menghendaki niscaya ia menempuh jalan kepada Rabbnya) menempuh jalan yang menyampaikan kepada-Nya, yaitu melalui iman dan taat kepada-Nya. IbnuAbbas, Ad-Dahhak, dan As-Saddi mengatakan sehubungan dengan makna firman-Nya: Hai orang yang berselimut. (Al-Muzzammil: 1) Yakni hai orang yang sedang tidur; menurut Qatadah, orang yang berselimut dengan pakaiannya. Ibrahim An-Nakha'i mengatakan bahwa ayat ini diturunkan saat Nabi Saw. sedang menyelimuti dirinya dengan jubahnya. 36Ekls. بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 730 Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُزَّمِّلُ 731 Ya aiyuhal muzzammil Sahih InternationalO you who wraps himself [in clothing], قُمِ ٱلَّيۡلَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا 732 Qumil laila illaa qaleelaa Sahih InternationalArise [to pray] the night, except for a little – نِّصۡفَهُۥٓ أَوِ ٱنقُصۡ مِنۡهُ قَلِيلًا 733 Nisfahooo awinqus minhu qaleelaa Sahih InternationalHalf of it – or subtract from it a little أَوۡ زِدۡ عَلَيۡهِ وَرَتِّلِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ تَرۡتِيلًا 734 Aw zid alaihi wa rattilil Qur’aana tarteela Sahih InternationalOr add to it, and recite the Qur’an with measured recitation. إِنَّا سَنُلۡقِي عَلَيۡكَ قَوۡلٗا ثَقِيلًا 735 Innaa sanulqee alaika qawlan saqeelaa Sahih InternationalIndeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word. إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ ٱلَّيۡلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطۡـٔٗا وَأَقۡوَمُ قِيلًا 736 Inn naashi’atal laili hiya ashadddu wat anw wa aqwamu qeelaa Sahih InternationalIndeed, the hours of the night are more effective for concurrence [of heart and tongue] and more suitable for words. إِنَّ لَكَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ سَبۡحٗا طَوِيلٗا 737 Inna laka fin nahaari sabhan taweelaa Sahih InternationalIndeed, for you by day is prolonged occupation. وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلۡ إِلَيۡهِ تَبۡتِيلٗا 738 Wazkuris ma rabbika wa tabattal ilaihi tabteelaa Sahih InternationalAnd remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with [complete] devotion. رَّبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَٱتَّخِذۡهُ وَكِيلٗا 739 Rabbul mashriqi wal maghriibi laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa fattakhizhu wakeelaa Sahih International[He is] the Lord of the East and the West; there is no deity except Him, so take Him as Disposer of [your] affairs. وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱهۡجُرۡهُمۡ هَجۡرٗا جَمِيلٗا Wasbir alaa maa yaqoo loona wahjurhum hajran jameelaa Sahih InternationalAnd be patient over what they say and avoid them with gracious avoidance. وَذَرۡنِي وَٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ أُوْلِي ٱلنَّعۡمَةِ وَمَهِّلۡهُمۡ قَلِيلًا Wa zarnee walmukaz zibeena ulin na’mati wa mahhilhum qaleelaa Sahih InternationalAnd leave Me with [the matter of] the deniers, those of ease [in life], and allow them respite a little. إِنَّ لَدَيۡنَآ أَنكَالٗا وَجَحِيمٗا Inna ladainaaa ankaalanw wa jaheemaa Sahih InternationalIndeed, with Us [for them] are shackles and burning fire وَطَعَامٗا ذَا غُصَّةٖ وَعَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا Wa ta’aaman zaa ghussa tinw wa’azaaban aleemaa Sahih InternationalAnd food that chokes and a painful punishment – يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَثِيبٗا مَّهِيلًا Yawma tarjuful ardu waljibaalu wa kaanatil jibaalu kaseebam maheelaa Sahih InternationalOn the Day the earth and the mountains will convulse and the mountains will become a heap of sand pouring down. إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ رَسُولٗا شَٰهِدًا عَلَيۡكُمۡ كَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ رَسُولٗا Innaa arsalnaaa ilaikum rasoolan shaahidan aleykum kamaaa arsalnaaa ilaa Fir’awna rasoolaa Sahih InternationalIndeed, We have sent to you a Messenger as a witness upon you just as We sent to Pharaoh a messenger. فَعَصَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ أَخۡذٗا وَبِيلٗا Fa’asaa Fir’awnur Rasoola fa akhaznaahu akhzanw wabeelaa Sahih InternationalBut Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger, so We seized him with a ruinous seizure. فَكَيۡفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرۡتُمۡ يَوۡمٗا يَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡوِلۡدَٰنَ شِيبًا Fakaifa tattaqoona in kafartum yawmany yaj’alul wildaana sheeba Sahih InternationalThen how can you fear, if you disbelieve, a Day that will make the children white- haired? ٱلسَّمَآءُ مُنفَطِرُۢ بِهِۦۚ كَانَ وَعۡدُهُۥ مَفۡعُولًا Assamaaa’u munfatirum bih; kaana wa’duhoo maf’oola Sahih InternationalThe heaven will break apart therefrom; ever is His promise fulfilled. إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةٞۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا Inna haazihee tazkiratun fa man shaaa’at takhaza ilaa Rabbihee sabeelaa Sahih InternationalIndeed, this is a reminder, so whoever wills may take to his Lord a way. ۞إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدۡنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَيِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَنِصۡفَهُۥ وَثُلُثَهُۥ وَطَآئِفَةٞ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحۡصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرۡضَىٰ وَءَاخَرُونَ يَضۡرِبُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَبۡتَغُونَ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنۡهُۚ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗاۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرٖ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيۡرٗا وَأَعۡظَمَ أَجۡرٗاۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمُۢ Inna Rabbaka ya’lamu annaka taqoomu adnaa min sulusa yil laili wa nisfahoo wa sulusahoo wa taaa’ifatum minal lazeena ma’ak; wal laahu yuqaddirul laila wanna haar; alima al lan tuhsoohu fataaba alaikum faqra’oo maa tayassara minal quraan; alima an sa yakoonu minkum mardaa wa aakharoona yadriboona fil ardi yabtaghoona min fadlil laahi wa aakharoona yuqaatiloona fee sabeelil laahi faqra’oo ma tayassara minhu wa aqeemus salaata wa aatuz zakaata wa aqridul laaha qardan hasanaa; wa maa tuqadimoo li anfusikum min khairin tajidoohu indal laahi huwa khayranw wa a’zama ajraa; wastaghfirul laahaa innal laaha ghafoorur raheem. Sahih InternationalIndeed, your Lord knows, [O Muhammad], that you stand [in prayer] almost two thirds of the night or half of it or a third of it, and [so do] a group of those with you. And Allah determines [the extent of] the night and the day. He has known that you [Muslims] will not be able to do it and has turned to you in forgiveness, so recite what is easy [for you] of the Qur’an. He has known that there will be among you those who are ill and others traveling throughout the land seeking [something] of the bounty of Allah and others fighting for the cause of Allah. So recite what is easy from it and establish prayer and give zakah and loan Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah. It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Surat Al-Muzzammil Orang yang berselimut 20 Ayat • Surat ke 73 • Makkiyah يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ 1. Hai orang yang berselimut Muhammad, قُمِ اللَّيْلَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا 2. bangunlah untuk sembahyang di malam hari, kecuali sedikit daripadanya, نِصْفَهُ أَوِ انْقُصْ مِنْهُ قَلِيلًا 3. yaitu seperduanya atau kurangilah dari seperdua itu sedikit. أَوْ زِدْ عَلَيْهِ وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلًا 4. atau lebih dari seperdua itu. Dan bacalah Al Quran itu dengan perlahan-lahan. إِنَّا سَنُلْقِي عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًا ثَقِيلًا 5. Sesungguhnya Kami akan menurunkan kapadamu perkataan yang berat. إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلًا 6. Sesungguhnya bangun di waktu malam adalah lebih tepat untuk khusyu' dan bacaan di waktu itu lebih berkesan. إِنَّ لَكَ فِي النَّهَارِ سَبْحًا طَوِيلًا 7. Sesungguhnya kamu pada siang hari mempunyai urusan yang panjang banyak. وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلْ إِلَيْهِ تَبْتِيلًا 8. Sebutlah nama Tuhanmu, dan beribadatlah kepada-Nya dengan penuh ketekunan. رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَاتَّخِذْهُ وَكِيلًا 9. Dialah Tuhan masyrik dan maghrib, tiada Tuhan yang berhak disembah melainkan Dia, maka ambillah Dia sebagai pelindung. وَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَاهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْرًا جَمِيلًا 10. Dan bersabarlah terhadap apa yang mereka ucapkan dan jauhilah mereka dengan cara yang baik.
